Repairs and Troubleshooting

Fault finding and repairs: zones that will not run, leaks, wet patches and valves that will not shut off.

Irrigation faults are rarely where they appear to be. A zone that will not fire might be a failed solenoid, a broken wire, a corroded joint or a controller output that has died, and guessing gets expensive. Diagnosis comes first on a repair call, so time and money go into the fault itself.

That means testing solenoids and field wiring, checking the controller output on each station, tracing pipe runs, and isolating sections to narrow a leak down before anything gets dug up. Wet patches, spiking water bills and zones that run when they should not are all traced the same methodical way.

You get told what the fault is, what it will take to fix, and whether a repair or a replacement is the better value. If a component is at the end of its life there is no point patching it, and if it has years left in it there is no point selling you a new one.
